Hospitals pursuing NBSC Breech Friendly Hospital (BFHD) Designation will be able to access the NBSC Educational toolkit which will outline the required criteria and steps necessary for NBSC accreditation.

The NBSC Educational Toolkit will include: 

• Online presentation and overview of physiologic vaginal breech birth

• Recommendations for obtaining and maintaining competence in upright and supine breech birth manoeuvres

• Access to in-person hands-on NBSC skill training opportunities

• Framework for attaining a BFH designation

• Strategies for supporting BFH implementation in urban, rural and remote multidisciplinary hospital settings

• Recommendations for mentoring new vaginal breech providers within hospital settings

• Information around data collection for tracking vaginal breech birth outcomes

• Strategies for navigating institutional barriers and effectively communicating community demand and current barriers to access
